Well, it was fairly different from other GNU/Linux systems, which involved learning quite a few new things.

Plus, I was using a VM on not-so-powerful hardware, and the installation process involved building a lot of stuff (for some reason), which made my CPU get very hot, 🔥🔥🔥 so I had to pause the VM from time to time.

Also, at the time, Gnome was available but Plasma wasn't, so... yuck 😨
