Got tricked into downloading the object oriented podcast...which is just electronic music, but it seems to be keeping me mostly focused on the train. The fact that it is continuous music after the intro really helps.

while on the subject of electronic music...

thinking I should upload some of my own (as in I made them) somewhere but haven't yet decided where

also what formats?

it seems that Firefox and Chrome won't play the same audio formats!

so maybe streaming is not a good option at this time

(is it ever? - never thought those stuttering unreliable streams were so enjoyable to listen to anyway)

.. am ok with people downloading them so maybe just a plain old web server is the easiest way

but I do insist that on any platform used there be no trace of any drm nonsense because its not needed and I do not want anything of mine to be used as any kind of excuse for any attacks on anyone or any kind of excuse to install any software on any machine that its user/owner doesn't want.

I INSIST!

maybe the plain old web server is also safer

(or is it? ,, now not sure about the browser end of things)

Free Music Archive is definitely the way to go if you can find a curator to actually put stuff on there. I am a curator, but I am way behind.

Alternatively, archive.org.
