Position Summary:
We are looking for additional Engineer to join our team in Estonia. You will be responsible for building, packaging and publishing our Zend Server PHP Application Server, ZendPHP and OpenLogic products. As a part of your role you will develop and maintain build and build automation scripts, packaging environments and Continuous Integration systems. Our employees are ones who make it happen. OpenLogic provides enterprise services for hundreds of open source projects, including OpenJDK, Kubernetes, CentOS, and MariaDB. With OpenLogic, teams boost efficiency and reduce risk.

Successful delivery of:
  • Zend Server / ZendPHP / OpenLogic product line (incl. product builds, installation and configuration for Linux as deb/rpm repositories, Windows installers, Mac and IBMi OS);
  • Continuous Integration setup – including build, packaging and installation;
  • Provide a second tier support for above products.
  • Good understanding of system administration on Unix/Linux OS and Windows systems;
  • 1-3 years of real world experience in building software (e.g. configure, make, etc.) under Linux. This also includes some experience with c/c++ programming language, building c programs on both Linux and Windows (MSVS) environments; understanding of static/shared libraries etc;
  • Experience with Linux systems installation technologies, such RPM and DEB packaging systems;
  • Experience with Windows installers (such as Installshield);
  • Excellent written and spoken English skills;
  • Passion for quality and excellent user experience;
  • B. Sc. in Computer Sciences or equivalent experience.
  • Good understanding of the Linux/Apache/MySQL/PHP stacks (LAMP) and/or similar;
  • Knowledge of openJDK;
  • Involvement in an active open source project;
  • Acquaintance with Zend products, free and commercial PHP solutions, CentOS and openJDK;
  • Experience in maintenance configuration management (SVN, git) and bug tracking systems;
  • Experience with Perl, Python and shell scripting (bash, Powershell);
  • Experience with software development and packaging for Mac OS;
  • Experience with IBM Power systems, IBMi OS, db2;
  • Knowledge with cloud solutions;
  • Knowledge with containers;
  • Experience with Jenkins CI tools (such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitLab CI etc.).
