Right, that's interesting the two have different results ... and I cannot apparently vote in either. (Of course I don't have a federati.net account ... unless federati networks with either pump.io or mastodon or Diaspora?)
You don't need a federati account, but you do need a GNU Social account for those two specific polls. Although, it's possible I started one on Diaspora. I think I can.
I did post one on Diaspora. The webclient for pump does not do polls. The Diaspora post has exactly zero responses, but you could change that: https://joindiaspora.com/posts/11346263 -- I sorta changed things up as my thoughts about the issue changed. I realized, among other things, that posing it as a personal issue was not the best way to get responses. I also was too specific in early versions, I think...at least for getting a large amount of responses.
I suppose I could redo the same exact poll on Diaspora and GNU Social, but I have no way to deal with double-voting.
