But seriously, Not sure that that is a browser issue. Sounds like it's time to spent some time in the resource monitor and see what is eating your system.
my cube neighbor put in a BYOOS request recently. We already use Libre/OpenOffice and Thunderbird.
Things like shared drives we'd have to use samba and there's probably some other stuff I'm not thinking about, but really, I don't see much reason for us to use Windows. If Sales "needs" Windows, then
