Are there no open registration pump.io servers apart from datamost and Evan's servers? And Evan's servers except identi.ca are all on their knees?
There are at least mipump.es (Spanish) and i.rationa.li. But the latter has serious issues at the moment, since it was upgraded to 3.x from 0.3.x.
zombienet.org is open to people upon request.

Ah yes. I tried to remote-login to mipump.es, but that also failed. Didn't think about registering at that point.
