"Is vaping safer than smoking?"  Yes... unless you are purchasing the e-liquid from the back of a truck - which most, or all of the deaths in the US have been traced back too.  I'd guess this anti-vaping hysteria is being funded by "Big Tobacco" who are loosing profits.
