Shame

I feel deeply ashamed of Spain today.

Citizens trying to cast their votes, even if the referendum they're voting on has not been legally approved (and yes, this is a complex topic), met with police brutality. Even the old people. Schools greatly damaged by said police. All in the name of """"democracy"""".

If there was 20% pro-independence population in Catalonia before, they're probably like 90% now.

I guess this is not surprising in a country where torturing bulls is a national festival, and where people can go to jail for posting jokes about old fascists on the internet.

Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition, but they should, even today.
