Trying to decide whether I should go to #Iceland in late August. It is hard to know how much detail to give. That was easy on twitter due to the limit, ha! Ask away if curious
Okay - why Iceland?
Wendy is obsessed with nonstop flights. The best time of year to go lines up to a certain extent with honeymoon time. Others like it. They speak English. Wendy already has time off then. These are the primary arguments for.
My time off situation is more complicated. We need to book now more or less. I'd personally rather go to South America since I've never been. I really don't have time for a long trip although to a certain extent this is both an argument for and against Iceland. Certainly the non stop helps in that regard. I'm not sure I really have time to plan Iceland right now but then again that can cut both ways. It would take substantially less planning than south America.
So really it boils down to staying in North America or going to Iceland, I guess. I've been to all 50 states. I've been to Canada but not spent a to of time there. Train here so guess I'm done this round.
