I am now on (also) Patchwork, the social network layered on top of Scuttlebot, which is the discovery layer on top of Secure Scuttlebutt.

My profile is %40iii%2Fpg320nKa62v1ohHctlhrXYPmY5BzZ1dRjypd7Cg%3D.ed25519 , but I don't understand enough of Patchwork to know quite how this information is useful to you.
I guess if you run Patchwork Classic you can go to http://localhost:7777/#/profile/%40iii%2Fpg320nKa62v1ohHctlhrXYPmY5BzZ1dRjypd7Cg%3D.ed25519 and maybe follow me there.

This ID is the same as my ID on git-ssb, as that's also layered on top of Scuttlebot, as are some other applications. Decentralize all the things!

For anyone getting into git-ssb, I can recommend you to get Patchwork up first, because it helps you get some of the Scuttlebutt things in place, in particular connecting to a pub and setting your display name.

Patchwork includes the Scuttlebot service, so you don't have to run that separately – in fact, they would conflict if you tried to run both. You can run either to serve as a backend for git-ssb, and you can hop back and forth between which one you're running, they use the same store and settings.

Patchwork is an intesting place to be, because it self-selects for people who can be bothered to set this stuff up (but really it's just npm install, npm start) and really care about Decentralizing All The Things.

Oh, and by the way, Scuttlebutt private messages are E2E encrypted.
Hmm, so there is a public read-only instance, and I can link to posts there, but I can't link to my profile and feed.
