Dianara works well on Gentoo

Tedel at

I just needed to call /usr/lib/qt5/bin/qmake because the default was qt4.

JanKusanagi, the Gentoo package needs a new maintainer.

Qt4 as default in 2018... woah xD

And "qmake-qt5" wasn't available?

What can I say? I don't even use Gentoo =)

Maybe they offer a way for users to show interest in a certain package?

There isn't a package qmake-qt5. Qt5 is already installed. Here the wiki page about Qt.

I use a distro based in Gentoo, but I don't know how to make an ebuild. Perhaps you could ask in your Dianara blog?

I meant a qmake-qt5 binary. Of course it's installed if you have /usr/lib/qt5/bin/qmake, but you probably have a qmake-qt5 symlink to it much more easily available.

At least, that's the most common thing I've seen =)
